55,000-SF two-story addition & renovation - Durham, NC
Renovation Project consists of the full interior renovation of 38,000 SF of the original 1968 building. The scope of the renovation included the replacement of all Interior Finishes, all Mechanical Systems, all Electrical Systems, and replacement of Plumbing Fixtures. A new addition of approximately 4,000 SF enlarges the school’s Media Center, provides enrichment dedicated learning rooms, and adds a Performance Stage & support spaces while enlarging the multi-purpose room. Construction Cost was $4.5M
The Approvals process included reviews by Durham Public Schools, the NC Department of Public Instruction, and the City of Durham Planning and Inspections
